Credits

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a certificate of competency from Karen Ball and the Academy of Ancient Reflexology, designating you as a Certified Hand and Foot Reflexologist with 315 hours of training.

If you are a nationally certified and/or state licensed massage therapist, your certificate will denote your credentials. If you are a Florida or Georgia licensed massage therapist, the Academy will post your continuing education credits with CE Broker.

Successful completion of the program guarantees both the skills and knowledge necessary to satisfy the testing prerequisites of the American Reflexology Certification Board. Your certificate satisfies requirements for Professional membership in the Reflexology Association of America and the various state reflexology associations.

A license is a legal document, usually issued by a government agency, which gives you the right to be compensated for offering your services. Countries and jurisdictions have different (or no) laws governing the professional practice of reflexology. Some require you to have a government-issued license in a related discipline before you can legally accept any compensation for giving a reflexology session.

It is in your best interest to familiarize yourself with the requirements and legalities of the country and jurisdiction (state, province, county, city) in which you plan to practice. For United State residents, you may wish to start with reading this document.
